VP, Solutions Architecture

Daryl Jacobson

Daryl is a seasoned infrastructure executive with over 15 years of dedicated data center experience leading technical design, client solutions, and cross-functional strategies for high-growth digital infrastructure platforms. As Vice President of Solutions Architecture at Crane, Daryl spearheads the alignment of complex technical systems with business objectives, acting as the primary liaison between engineering and commercial teams to ensure the scalable, high-performance execution of Crane’s hyperscale environments.

Prior to joining Crane, Daryl transformed the commercial velocity at H5 Data Centers as Senior Director and Solution Architect. Serving as the sole sales engineer for a 30-facility portfolio, he orchestrated end-to-end RFI responses, complex space and floor topologies, and hyperscaler site audits. His strategy of standardizing and simplifying technical procedures broke down internal roadblocks.

Before H5, Daryl played an integral role at EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure as employee #8, serving as General Manager and later Vice President of Technical Program Management. He anchored client solutions for major hyperscale accounts and led the primary design efforts during the company’s recapitalization phase. Daryl’s foundational data center experience began at CoreSite, where he initially served as an operational consultant and project manager, helping drive corporate efficiencies and supporting cross-functional deployment teams through the company’s initial public offering (IPO).

Daryl's multidisciplinary career began in litigation consulting with Peterson Consulting, Tucker Alan Inc, and Navigant Consulting. He spent 15 years managing forensic investigations, complex financial damages claims, and causation analyses, while developing an elite, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving that he later translated to mission-critical infrastructure.

Daryl holds a B.S. in Economics with a focus on Finance and Multinational Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He previously held active credentials as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Outside of designing data center topologies, he enjoys reading, listening to history podcasts, working on his property, and spending quality time with his family and watching his children play tennis.
