Sri Sridharan is a proven leader in procurement strategy and large-scale capital deployment for the data center sector. As Director of Procurement at Crane, he drives the company’s critical equipment strategy - enabling scale, speed to market, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and product development. Sri is responsible for shaping a resilient global supplier pipeline and building strategic partnerships across key infrastructure systems, ranging from electrical components like substations and power distribution units to mechanical systems such as chillers and coolant distribution units.
Prior to joining Crane, Sri was at Vantage Data Centers, where he led end-to-end procurement for large-scale IT capacity deployments across the West Coast and Central regions, overseeing more than $1 billion in capital spend. He was instrumental in establishing a multiyear, gigawatt-scale equipment pipeline to meet the evolving Cloud and AI infrastructure demands of hyperscale customers. Under his leadership, Vantage achieved significant cost reductions, expanded vendor diversity, and strengthened global sourcing strategies to enhance operational resilience and reduce risk. He also played a key role in launching vendor-managed inventory programs, scalable procurement structures, and tax-optimized models to support rapid expansion.
Earlier in his career, Sri spent five years at Cambridge CM, where he delivered multi-phase data center developments for Vantage. He also supported the preconstruction and delivery of high-profile projects, including the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital expansion at Stanford. His work spanned projects across the Bay Area and Canada, with a focus on MEP systems, controls, and financial management.
Sri holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jain University.
