As Chief Financial Officer at Crane, Jeff Dorr leads the company’s financial strategy, capital formation, investor engagement, and operational finance. With a strong track record in digital infrastructure, Jeff brings deep expertise in structuring complex transactions, building high-performing teams, and driving strategic growth across private equity-backed and publicly-traded organizations.
Prior to joining Crane, Jeff was co-founder and CFO of EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure, where he led financial operations, capital planning, investor relations, and strategic transactions. During his tenure, he raised over $2 billion in equity and debt and helped lead the company’s successful acquisition by Partners Group. Jeff also oversaw the buildout of EdgeCore’s internal financial and operational systems, supporting rapid expansion across multiple U.S. markets.
Earlier in his career, Jeff held multiple senior leadership roles at CoreSite, where he helped scale the company’s operations through a period of transformational growth during and following the IPO. He led enterprise-wide financial planning, operational analytics, IT system implementations, and process improvement programs rooted in Lean Six Sigma methodology. His leadership contributed to CoreSite being one of the industry’s top-performing platforms.
Jeff’s leadership is grounded in operational rigor, analytical precision, and a passion for building enduring platforms. He is based in Colorado and is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Accounting.
